Itis a project to develop a natural gas field in Timimoun, located in the SaharaDesert, 800 kilometers southwest from the capital, Algiers. In this project, weconstructed a central processing facility (CPF) with a capacity of 177 MMSCFDand a pipeline that collects and transports gas.

The project was awarded by Fertil, a joint venture between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) of the UAE and TOTAL of France. As of late 2000, ADNOC planned a number of projects aiming to turn the country’s abundant natural resources into high value-added businesses.
